First some cute stories:
----------
The phone rang and Aussie picked it up. I heard him talk just a little bit and then he hung up. I said, "Aussie, who was that." He said, "A stranger so I hung up!"
-------------
Ashley's foot fell asleep. She told me her foot was sizzling. I told her she needed to get up and walk on it. So she got up and hopped on her other foot around the room. I said, "Ashley, you need to walk on the foot." She said, "no, that's not how you do it." I said, "In order for it to stop, you actually need to walk on the foot." She said, "that doesn't make any sense."
----------------
At bedtime:
Ashley: Mommy, what are those dots on you?
Me: those are freckles. Some people have freckles across their noses. Most people with red hair have freckles. Your Gramma has freckles all over.
Ashley: Do I have freckles?
Me: I'm not sure, you might have some.
Long pause
Ashley: Where do freckles come from?
Me: Well God gives them to some people when they are born and some other people get them from being out in the sun a lot.
(A BIG SMILE came across her face)
Ashley: I can do that! I want to have speckles just like my Mommy!

Today we went to see a play at the Children's theatre with our homeschool group. It was Junie B. Jones. It was SO cute! I just loved it. And then we went to McD's for lunch. Sometimes fast food tastes SO GOOD! Today was one of those days.
Before we went to the theatre I taught the kids :30 on the clock. It's fun to watch them learn now. I feel like it has only been a couple of weeks since they have started learning "new" things. It seems as though every thing before now has been review. (not all of it...but it was all pretty boring) Now it is exciting- even though they still feel the same way about school.
Ok last- I had to do another layout. I just couldn't miss the LAST day. So I put this together quickly.
These are my lefties! Journaling says: I tried to put the pencil in your right hand, but all of you insist on writing with your left hand.

This layout I scraplifted from one of my scrapbooking magazines. Unfortunately, I did not write down who did it, to give her credit. But I just love how it turned out!!
