Well today didn't go as planned, but it was still a pretty good day.
We had a snow day. Which basically means we may have gotten an inch the night before but sure to melt by noon the next day and everyone in Tennessee goes insane and they shut down schools. Of course school ALWAYS gets closed on a Friday which happens to be the ONLY day my children attend a school other than homeschool.
Today I planned for crafts and cooking something new and fun. But instead we decided to play out in the snow. Here is my first snowgirl.
And since we had SO MUCH snow I decided to make two. Except the snowgirl had to have a little liposuction in order to make the snowman because there wasn't quite enough on the ground.
I had the kids work on cleaning their rooms. I don't know how much they actually got cleaned as I fell asleep.
Then when I came downstairs I looked at my phone which told me the kids had a church event to go to tonight that I promptly forgot about as soon as I put it into my phone.
Anyway, we had to leave the house immediately to make it on time.
We headed out. I'm so glad there is a GPS on my cell phone. It was FAR FAR away. It took us an hour and a half to get there in rush hour traffic.
Over halfway through the time my kids were playing I remembered that I brought my camera and it was in the car. So I went out to get it to capture just a little bit of what they were doing. Anyway it was at a place that had rock climbing, pool tables, an art room, huge climbing tree house,
and one of my kids favorite, along with several others, was the toddler area where there was a village in which they played restaurant.
I got one picture of each of my kids and well they are lacking in the photography area!
Aussie took my order. I just asked for a hamburger and french fries. And much to my surprise he delivered my order exactly in toy foods. I didn't even know what they had.
Ashley was at the grocery store.
Then Mason was at the cash register. I have no idea what Edie is doing in this picture but she, Mason and Ashley have become pretty good friends. They all enjoy playing with Pokemon. Ashley brought a bagful hoping that Edie would be there tonight.
And this is from a couple of days ago. Yes those are all HER Build A Bear animals! Does this picture remind you of ET at all?
