crafting like crazy

Good grief! I apologized to someone as we were leaving church today for being an ADD family. Now most of us are normally ADD but today was so bad it could have been a sitcom episode. I had my sewing class in stitches (ha ha ha that's a pun!) over our craziness.

Here's what happened.  Ashley was filming during 2nd service, so Greg, Mason, Aussie and I sat down in the back (thankfully). During one of the songs Aussie leans over and says something about hurting.  He repeated himself several times and I still couldn't hear him.  So I said come with me and lead him to the lobby.  He told me his stomach was hurting, but he thought it was because he was hungry. I looked in my purse and around the lobby hoping there would be doughnuts or something at the hospitality table, but didn't find anything for him to eat.  I told him to go back in and since I was already out there I decided to use the restroom.  When I was coming back from the restroom I saw Mason coming back from the restroom as well.  When Mason and I walked in, only Aussie was sitting there.  I asked him where Greg went.  Apparently, Ashley came in while Mason and I were gone and needed Greg to help with the camera. So when the sermon was over and Greg hadn't returned, I told the boys that we will leave during the song to go find him.  As we were leaving, Greg was entering.

So I've been working on several projects over the last 3 days. Cori, the owner of the Theater Bug, where my kids have acted in many of her plays and I'm the photographer for her, is having a baby.  This is her first baby and she is having a boy. We are having a baby shower for her at the end of the month and I have been creating some very fun things for her! I realize I am a bit of an over achiever when it comes to crafting, but I am having so much fun! I won't post on Facebook because she could see it, but I doubt she will find and read my blog.  I bought a package of onsies.  It came with 5. This is the first outfit I made.
I'm still working on the second.
And I made several interchangeable bows.
2 onsies will be the vests, 2 will be only a bow and one I am attempting to put suspenders on it.  I let you see it once I get it finished.  Then I made these art pictures with colors that match her nursery, which I will frame.

Ok, I'm off to bed.
