going to bed

Greg told me I need to come to bed
by 11:30PM. (sigh)
I told him I will be there by 12:00 that 11:30 was
too early.
I guess I need to be told...
but I don't like it.
I've been editing pictures, so I'll have quite a bit more to
put on my blog tomorrow.

Sunday Sunday

Nana sent these adorable outfits. I have to say Aussie was a bit embarrassed to wear the flowered tie, but they were so cute!
Nana asked if the kids like to climb trees. Why yes they do! Even in their nice church clothes!

Eat Krispy Kreme

After the park we went to Krispy Kreme. I had a lot of fun trying to sneak pictures of Aussie.
MMMMmmm...MMMmmm...MMMMmmmm!! Love Krispy Kreme!!!

I know the quality of these pictures are not the best, but I'm still pretty impressed at how well the camera on my phone works.

Centennial Park

Warning this is very picture heavy!!!
Friday we went to co-op and Saturday we went to Centennial Park. It was a GORGEOUS day! The place was very busy though! Doris said she had never seen so many cameras in one place before.

We had loads of fun! We walked around the lake, fed the ducks bread, the kids climbed trees. Of course I bribed the kids with a donut if they would let me take pictures of them.

We ran into a couple of ladies holding ferrets. Aussie asked if he could hold one and she let him.
And then Ashley had a chance to hold her. Mason pet them but kept his distance.
It was hot and we were thirsty, so I bought me and the kids a snow cone. (except Aussie who doesn't like them)
A little bread for the ducks....A little bread for me.

I realized it was 6:00PM and we really needed to go home and have dinner. But I had promised 2 things: That we would go on the playground and get a donut. Ashley and Mason were tired and ready to go. But Aussie really wanted to play on the playground. I had to tell them we just couldn't do it today, that it was too late. He was very upset. I wanted to go home- but I promised the donuts. And since Austin didn't have a snow cone he wanted his treat. So we went to Krispy Kreme and Aussie and I played THE GAME again.

Chef Mason- Thursday

My Chef Mason wanted to make some cookies. He found a recipe of cookies that look like little hamburgers. He did most everything by himself. It was a great learning experience too! I had him read the recipe to me. He wondered why the 1/3 cup was smaller than the 1 cup. So I showed him.

And when they were done---they were YUMMY!

The kids got an Easter package from Nana and Papa today. We loved everything. Ashley even used the tissue paper that the stuff was wrapped in and made a bunny. She is very crafty!

At McDonalds

I have a tremendous amount of stuff to talk about. I'm sure I won't get to all of it today.

We went to McDonald's Wednesday. While we were there we met a man who was from Egypt. We talked to him a little bit. It was pretty hard to understand him. But Aussie asked him if there were monkeys in Egypt. He said yes but mainly camels. So then Ashley asked him if he had ever ridden a camel and he said many times. His son or grandson was a little stinker though. I was taking pictures and he kept wanting to be in the picture. So several times he would just get in front of my kids. Ashley was frustrated and probably jealous that he was getting the attention. Here she is jumping in front of the kid to get her picture taken.
And of course Aussie and I had to play THE GAME! I told him I was going to post this.
Ashley would get in front then move away so I could get Aussie. It worked once.
I love this picture of him. He had a little hair gel in his hair. He wanted to look like Link, but he doesn't have enough hair to do that.
Now Mason wanted his hair spiked. Dad called him Spike and he LOVES it!
CAUGHT!!!!
But all the attention of me trying to get pictures of the boys, my little angel got jealous and said, I love the boys more than her. OH BROTHER! Anyway, that is why I got a ton of pictures of her. But I can't complain she is beautiful!
I love this picture. I will totally use it on a layout. Little Miss Sunshine!
