layouts from National Scrapbook Day

I need to go to bed!
We picked up Dalton today and while we were in the car he said, "I love you!" And Aussie said, "I love you too, but I'm NOT in love with you." Then he proceeded to give a lecture about how you can only be in-love with girls, but IF you had a sister then you couldn't be in love with her.
It totally cracked me up!
Here are the layouts I did this weekend.
This one was a round robin. It is where you work on a layout for 5 minutes and then you pass it to the next person. I think it turned out great!

Scrapbooking and family visit

Here are the 4 layouts I did this weekend:
The journaling reads: Dear Mom & Dad, Thank you for raising me to know and love God. A strong foundation is the most important thing in ones life!

The journaling reads: We had so much fun at Page's house. We BEG our Mom to take us again. We wonder if we will ever get invited back.

And here are the heros who came and visited me at the scrapbook store today:

Mason really cracks me up. I love how he came up to me and whipped off his glasses only to be another pair underneath. He is my silly one and loves to joke around. I love that about him.

The Real Thing

I went back to the scrapbook store today and took a picture of the layout I did yesterday and left there. This is it. I'm using all Jenni Bowlin products. I'm loving the new colors she's bringing into her collections.

I didn't have my scrapbooking stuff with me today, so I just visited with Dana. Dana helped me come up with an idea for a class. So I need to be working on that pretty quickly.

Lots of layouts.

I got 5 layouts done today. Yipeeeeee! One is hanging up at the store. Here they are:

This one is actually just a circle. I tried to cut off the background and it gave it this lovely color blue.

This one I still want to sew on.

This one has hidden journaling about us finding this kitten and keeping her.

And I don't know how many years Aussie has liked doors, but I decided to do another layout out about his obsession.

And I don't remember when, possibly a couple months ago I did these three.
This one I scraplifted from the one and only Doris.
This one is so much brighter in person.

Then last weekend I got these 3 done:

I bought these pajamas for $3.50 at the Disney store! The kids wanted to put them on. I told them they could put them on in the car, but then they said, "Well then no one will see us" So we did a quick change in the bathroom. I think I'm a cool Mom!
I didn't intend for this to be a double page layout. I used the same papers and now it bugs me. But I won't do it over again.

I want to scrapbook more. Today I was in the groove and I just want to continue.

Simplicity

I've finally got a layout done in time to submit to the OLW (One Little Word) challenge. The word this time is SIMPLICITY! So without further ado here is my layout...
The journaling around the layout reads:
*This is everything in my life that is simple.
*Every picture on this page represents the simplicity in my life.
*Triplets (do not)= simplicity.
*Our life is extremely full, this layout shows Everything in our lives that is simple.
*My life (does not)= simplicity.
*But we do enjoy life.

Scrapbooking Fun

Alrighty here are the layouts I completed today:

This is the one I was talking about yesterday that is way outside my box, but it does show how I actually doodle. Which I think is actually pretty cool. It was lots of fun to do! (Unfortunately I missed the deadline of the OLW challenge.

This is one that I did today using Kelli Crowe's new line for ScrapInStyle. I love it! It's so not like the usual things I do either, but it sure was fun!

This is another layout I did that is simple, but I like it. Someone at our crop today had some little Irish papers that she was giving away and I just happened to have some Irish pictures with me. You need to read the title in an Irish accent.

And here is a picture I took of my kids at Chuck E. Cheese on Friday.

We had a great day today. It's so bizzarre how time flies when you're having fun!!!

Tennessee Scrapbook Part 1

This is what I have been working on over the last few weeks. It is for a homeschooling project. We were to compile information about TN and whoever got me is compiling stuff about their state. And so I made a scrapbook as my main project. And for the record I am so counting these 20 pages in my scrapbooking goal. :)

Scrapbooking Fun and Layouts

These are the fun place settings Jeanette had at the crop.

This is a close-up on the name cork board she made for each of us. I need to replace one of the brad that I used down in the corner.

And Here are the three layouts I did:

More scrapbook layouts

Cute kids if I do say so myself!

I got Ashley to wear her "stupid" shoes today.

I told her Aubrey (at church) has shoes just like them and she wears them. She just said, "I knooooow it."

I got to scrapbook at Dana's tonight. I got 3 layouts done and started on a mini album. Here is my monkey page:
Even though this Thanksgiving Layout looks really simple and was... I had a hard time with it because the picture was just too big. I felt I couldn't be creative.
And then I did this layout of Ashley at 6 months old in a hat box.
OH I forgot to tell you about the Scrapbook store. Michelle had asked where it was.
It's called Scrap'n Memories and you can look at the link to find out where they are located.
They have a refer a friend program. So if you go please tell them that I sent you. You will receive $5 toward your punch card and so will I. The punch card is done autimatically, so you don't have to carry a card around. pretty cool!
Now I was going to say I'm off to bed...but I just saw that my lil' brother just logged on, so I'm going to chat with him a little bit. Aren't computers a wonderful thing?
